Are you interested to learn how your scientific, technical, and analytical skills translate from the bench to intellectual property and patent law? Then this “Careers in Patent Law” presentation at UCSF is for you.

The purpose of this event is for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the life sciences and other technical fields to learn more about career opportunities in intellectual property and patent law. We'll be joined by representatives from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, who will address the following:

What is patent law?

What is a scientific advisor/patent agent and what qualifications are required to become one?

How can I become a patent attorney?
